Thanks for sharing this amazing story of your precious baby. She really is gorgeous and such a fighter. Its amazing they were able to put all that bowel back in through such a teeny space! Well done to all the staff at the RCH. We dont have alot of spare money, but always donate to the Red Nose Day Appeal.

What a wonderful video. Firstly, congratulations on your stunningly beautiful daughter!
Secondly, it was very educational. I had no idea of those stats - it is a lot more common than I had thought. I hadn't realised such tiny babies had so much intestine. (Sounds silly and sorry if is insensitive, but that was a fascinating photo with it all out.) I am amazed at how small that incision was to replace her bowel.
Thank you so much for sharing it with us. It was very emotional and really heartwarming seeing those lovely smiley/talkey photos at the end. Good on her, and good on you both. Enjoy your lovely little girl!

Nah, not insensitive at all! I was staggered at how much there was. I never really saw it, only quickly when the ambulance bought her in to see me. I couldn't really see it then, anyway. So glad that DP got a good picture of it all out.
