Has anyone else thought this...is it mean, lol???

I was just looking back of photos of my DS when he was newborn and while he was tiny. I just had the though, 'wow, he's not the prettiest baby is he?' LOL!! When he was born he did have pretty bad bruising because he was born really quickly (there's a name for it but I can't remember what it is). Then when he was little he lost all of the hair at the front of his head. It was pretty hilarious, but he looked like a little old bald man! So he just looked sooo funny! Now of course he couldn't get any cuter but when he was a little baby, well lucky you have mummy goggles when you have kids cause mine wasn't the nicest to look at, but I thought he was the most gorgeous thing I had seen since I had DD (who really was a gorgeous newborn!).
So has anyone done this or am I the only nasty mummy here??!

I haven't personally. But a friend of mine asked me the exact same question. Her DD is now 18months old and she stills looks at her and say it!

Riley was incredibly bruised as a newborn but we thought he was gorgeous, looking back he just looks dreadful LOL
DD2 was REALLY chubby at about 6-9 months and now looking back we think OMG she was FAT!!

Oh gosh Jazz went through this awful ugly period at 4-6 weeks where she got those newborn pimples all over her cheecks and chin, all her hair at the front fell out and she looked like a little fat balding old man. I thought she was gorgeous (mummy goggles hehe) but looking at photos I think "oh, that was not a good look!!!"

Hehehehehe, she's the most beautiful little princess now, but those few weeks she did have a head only her mummies could love

Hehe, I've got some terrible pics of DS.
He seemed a little overcooked and a bit wrinkly, he was also on the runty side so no chubby rolls for a few months. He really was a beautiful boy but in some pics...he just looks a little wrong

lol, i'm sure many people think the same thing - both my babies were good looking newborns, they were c/s babes, so they weren't all squished and bruised, but they both went through a bit of an awkward stage at a few months old. but, now are the most gorgeous babies to walk the planet (i may be biased...)
