Well, I'm beginning to get worried about DD in the car. For the last couple of months she has been grunting and pushing (as if she were constipated) everytime she gets into her car seat, it's rather bizarre. I'm sure it has something to do with the angle the seat is on, or the positon she is sitting in. Last week I change her carseat to a convertible toddler booster seat, and I was hoping this would stop it, but no, she still does it.
I'm just curious to know if your little one has ever done this? And did it eventually stop? Is it something I should be worried about. Or do you have any advise on what I could do, to stop it.
Oh how cute, Mummy Mel. I remember my DS doing something similar at a similar age - I pretty sure it was just a little phase he was going through. Just experimenting with different noses that his throat could make. I don't think it lasted long!
Flynn used to grunt all the time as a newborn when he would try to wriggle out of his swaddle. I was always just gald he grunted rather than screamed LOL! I suspect Ticklish is right - babies experiment all the time - Flynn is coughing all the time ATM, but just for laughs....
Thanks Ladies,
I'm sure your right, there is nothing to worry about. I'm just worried that she is going to do herself some damage, as she really pushes and grunts and turns red in the face. Hopefully it will pass soon. Thanks for your reassurance.
