Definitely that one!! aside from the fact that it's no ones business but ours, we are unlikely to be able to have more kids and the last thing I want to do is explain that and the reasons why.
Also, when DS was under 12 months "Is he a good baby?" - I got it all the time and I really hate that question and all of the loaded stuff underlying it.
"Does he sleep through?" - I always wondered if all the people asking that question were doing some kind of research to get stats on how many kids sleep through at different ages! It wasn't so much the question that bothered me but the whole area of discussion that it opened up when I said no. That discussion still drives me nuts actually because I'm still having it LOL!!!
My batty next door neighbour (so not a stranger) used to ask me very intensely every month or so whether I was still breastfeeding DS (with the expected response being yes). I didn't think this would annoy me (i.e. she was pro-extended breastfeeding) but her little comments of approval after I would say yes were so irritating! I got the impression she would have given me a hard time if I'd weaned DS too early in her opinion. I guess I don't like being judged in either direction for the choices I, DP and DS make about how we raise him.
JM -hun. That totally sucks that you cop that so frequently. I think you should definitely remind people that your kids have ears, they're bright and they understand what the speaker has just implied about their existence. People just don't think and treat kids like they're not even there!
