Head lice

I feel your pain. My DD 26months got them from friends kids who were riddled with them.. Ive now limited contact with them... You need to get head lice treatment, treat his hair and the whole families. When you do his hair give him something to distract him.. My DD doesnt like her hair being touched but I had to do her hair, head lice are gross things.. If you cant see crawlies yet maybe you've caught it early, but his hair needs to be done ASAP. Also wash all bedding in hot water.. HTH

The easiest option...shave his head! My DS1 has had lice for about a month now and just when I think they're all gone, he's scratching again. The funny thing is my other kids don't have it...which is great, but I am still treating them too JIC. I am getting to the point of just shaving his hair off to get rid of them once and for all.

Thanks ladies Hopefully we wont have to shave his head as he is petrified of clippers, he gets hysterical when he gets his hair cut with scissors and the one time the lady used clippers on the sides he went berserk the poor boy. But if it has to be done at some point then so be it, I remember having them as kids and my brother would just shave his head to save the hassle of getting them again haha.

I got a no comb kill solution from the supermarket, its in his hair now and it says to wash out in 4 hours. Once thats out I'll put conditioner through his hair and give it a comb. An hour after we put the solution in we could see the big suckers come out crawling through his hair trying to get away, there were some pretty big ones He has only been scratching the last few days, I'm surprised he hasnt been doing it longer.

Checked my hair, and yep, riddled with eggs. Have combed it through with conditioner and got a lot of eggs and lice out, just waiting for it to dry to put a 10min kill one through. Done DP as well and he hasnt got anything.

What a great way to go through $60 just like that
