Question How many layers to be out this morning? (Melbourne)

I have to go to the city this morning and it's FRIGID out there - still minus 2 out my way.

DS is 9 weeks old and I am just wondering how many layers I should have on him to venture out this morning .... keeping in mind he'll be in the car / climate controlled office building the majority of the time.

At the moment he is in bed with a singlet, quilted racing suit (so cute), sleeping bag and our doona on top of him and he seems just nice.....

Should I just keep him in this or should I change him into a jump suit, pants and a jumper?

How many layers should be considered for little ones in the cold?

Don't want me little man to be cold out there.......

    Hi Dee!

I don't have a little one yet but have been researching how to dress bubs when he/she arrives and everything I've been reading and everyone I've been asking has told me to follow the rule of always dressing baby in one more layer than I am wearing myself... I hope this helps and that someone more knowledgable can give you more certain advice soon! Minus 2?! OUCH! It's bad enough here in Bris where is was down to 9 last night!

I would so singlet, body suit then some sort of top (jumper, hoodie, cardigan). You can always take that off in the building and car. Blankets are awesoem for car and pram. Hat and mittens are good too. Don't go overboard especially if inside most of the time!
