I was looking at the Hipod from Target too for DS (who is tiny for his age at about 12kg at 2.5) but have decided to get the Baby Love Ezy Combo as well as the safety rating is much better, the reviews are better and it has a cup holder LOL. In all seriousness though I have read about 20 reviews of the Hipod that said the headrest part cracked within a year and although Hipod replace it, I don't think that's safe at all. Originally I was thinking of the Maxi Rider but the Ezy Combo has an extra star in its safety rating.

I have found that Baby Bunting sell the Baby Love Ezy Combo for $259 - not much more than the sale price for the Hipod when you consider the superior safety is provides. We are off to get the Ezy Combo instead now
