Help please - Braun Thermoscan problem & high temperature

Poor littly Gussy has a bad case of the flu with a middle ear infection. He's having really high temperatures. We have a Braun Thermoscan thermometer. For some reason it has flipped from reading in celsius to farenheit. We can't seem to work out how to flip it back to celsius. I can't lay my hands on the instruction manual. Can anyone tell me how to change it back to reading in celsius?

thermometer offpress & hold down the <start> button or <1/0> button - after 3 secs the display will show this sequence C / SET/F/SET

release the start button when F is showing - there will be a short beep to confirm new setting -then therm is turned off automatically
when turned on again - temp will show in F - until above procedure repeated

....I got one given to me last week and haven't used it opened it for instructions hope it helps
