Laura, my first thought when you said they were pussy is that it was impetigo too. My eldest son was allergic to mosquito bites when he was little. Whenever he got bitten he would then itch them so bad that they would turn into impetigo. So maybe what starts out as an alergic reaction once scrathed gets infected and turns into impetigo.....
Just a thought anyway. I'm surprised that the Dr hasn't done any testing on her yet.

Just wanted to Thank everyone for their replies. My friend is a little stressed with her daughters condition at the moment. I have had a look at some of the photos on google of that Impetigo but it doesn't really look like that. Or maybe it hasn't got that bad. But I was thinking if its contagious her other kids should have got it by now as she has had it for a couple of weeks. Will keep researching and let you know. Might try and get a piccy too and post it on here in the next couple of days so you can all get a better idea of what its like. Thanks so much for all your answers.Might tell my friend to take her daughter to a skin specialist or an allergist too. Will be back later to check again. CHEERS!!!
