Help! Why does my newborns breath & burps smell like rotten egg?

Or silent... My DD has silent) too, my DD had a sour smelling breath until I got her onto Zantac... Now its sweet milky breath!!

Apparently it is common in formula fed babies but not in breast fed ones. It was put down to her speedy arrival and the mucus etc that she had been vomiting for the first day and a half. The smell seems to have gone away for now, which is great
