How to encourage crawling?

I don't thikn it really matters, does it? I mean if they get there in the end.
My DS crawled, but my DD is shaping up as a bum shuffler too.

Hi gypsy, my 8 month old DD is the same. She is happy to sit there and look at her toys. No rolling, not interested in tummy time, definately no where near crawling.... I say enjoy it while it lasts lol! My first was a late mover and I remember feeling a bit panicky about it too, but looking back now I was worrying for no reason, now I cant keep her still
