I would just go with one or two boxes of newborn nappies, maybe more of the next size up.
You don't know how big bub will be... DD2 only fit newborn nappies for a couple of weeks

Of course you could always swap them at the supermarket if you have the wrong size. But you migh tfind it a PITA to get out & about in the first few weeks.
