how many hours does your toddler day nap last?

DD is 18 months old and has 1 day sleep every day from 1pm-5pm (4 hrs).
She then sleeps 730pm-630am every night

It has been this way for a few months now.

how long does your toddler sleep at daytime?

Wow wanna swap DD's for sleeping!!!

Chelsea is 25 months and has a arvo nap generally 1pm-2.30/3pm, then goes to bed at 8pm-7am (sometimes 8am if im lucky).

toddler and day nap you have to be kidding dont you....

DD2 stoped her nap at 18 mths it was a very sad time for me, as it ment I too lost my day nap....before she stoped anything from 1 to 3 hrs was the norm...

DS had day naps right up until he started kindy/ preschool so about 4 he would sleep for at least a hour or two...

DD1 never slept so cant remember, she is just too full of life to have had a nap...

He goes to bed around 7.30/8pm and wakes at 8am

so di you think she is sleeping too much?
(i say this as she went to bed at 1pm today and is mmmm still sleeping)

she often wakes after 1.5hrs screaming and grumpy - if i ignore her that is when she goes back down for the other 1-2 hrs.....

PP.....i wouldn't be too worried Ashley obviously needs this sleep and whilst she is still happy enough to go back to bed at night i wouldn't be too concerned - some kids just need more sleep then others.

My first son stopped all day sleeps by the time he was 18mths too but my second son is still having a sleep some days now at 3.

Hi.... my son who is 8 yrs now used to have huge sleeps and i loved it (as it was my sleep as well ). Everyone said 'oh you cant let tom sleep for all that time he wont sleep at night!' i said 'want to make a bet?' So he had day sleeps until 3yrs slept from 1pm til 3 or 4m then went back to bed at 6 or 7 pm throught til 6 or 7 am!

MMM but my second DS who is nearly 6 mths does the 20 min cat naps and it is soooo annoying !
