Both Kameron and Lachlan have 3 weetbix.

Ashton has 2 weetbix, and sometimes 3 or he will polish off one of the boys if they don't eat all theirs.

Ash has 1.5 with pureed fruit. Then I offer her piece toast which some days she'll eat and other days not.

My DD only has the 1 plus 1/2 a banana. She eats SO much I have to limit her intake of food lol!!

I thought weetabix had too much salt for littlies?

My DD eats a LOT at brekkie. Usually at least one big bowl of raw oats and sultanas and milk, or sometimes puffed rice and raisins and milk, usually she asks for a top up in the bowl when she's eaten the first lot. Then she has at least one slice of (my!) toast, and often follows up with an apple. That said she's only 15kg (33months next week) and she tends to eat less at lunch and still less at dinner, so it probably evens up, over the day.

Bec, there's a kid's version (with the Wiggles all over the pack) that is low salt & sugar. There's also another brand that normal version is lower in salt than normal Weet-bix, but I won't buy that 'cuse the parent company is Nestle.

my 1yr old has 1 vita-brit and possibly a piece of fruit.

my 2 1/2 yr old has a bowl of cereal (whatever's going at the time) and a cup of fruit (usually peaches or something). If he has vitabrits, he only has 1, coz he eats it so slow he doesn't like it when it's soggy. But he eats ALL day if he can. He's a real grazer. If I starve him through the morning & afternoon I can get him to sit and eat big meals at lunch/dinner lol, but he asks for food constantly.

I don't like the taste of weetbix, plus the sugar/salt thing, so it's vitabrits in this house, regardless of nestle. I only get a few nestle things.. vitabrits, milo, and.. can't remember.. think there's something else lol. Otherwise I dodge their products too

DS is 19 months, and just increased from 1 to 2 weetbix a few weeks ago. He'll usually have some sort of fruit with that, like half a banana or a handful of grapes. Then, 1 1/2 hrs later, he has 'second breakfast' - dried fruit and nuts - then morning tea, then lunch.

DS has 1.5 Vitabrits, but I think they're a bit bigger than weetbix? So i think it would be about the equivalent of 2 weetbix.

I have 2 vitabrits, so he almost has the same as me LOL.

I buy weetbix not vitabrits because DD1 occasionally gets a bit iron-deficient - weetbix is fortified with iron but vitabrits and the homebrand ones are not.

My DD2 eats 2 - 2.5 plus an assortment of bits of toast, fruit, etc when the need strikes!

Ben used to eat 4 Vitabrits, but has cut down to 1.5-2 in the past couple of months. This is his first breakfast of the day, he then has a bowl of cornflakes at Nanny's house followed by toast. He's a morning eater though and will then usually only graze all day.
