    In my experience babies are cheap. It's when they get to school and secondary school that it begins to get more expensive. Try telling a teenager that they have to wear hand me downs or clothes from kmart. That's when it starts getting more challenging IMO.

    That's what I'm worried about N2L. If DF sticks with this job, then hopefully we'll be ok. Just not sure how to deal with the unknowns. Thats what's really stressing me out about this.

    Mind you, if you gave a kid the option of never having been born or having to wear kmart jeans, most would chose the jeans.....Not all though

    My opinion? There's never a perfect time to have a child. There's always something that could hold you back if you let it. I say go for it. You'll cope..and once s/he is here it will all become irrelevant.
