I had a Peanut Shell with DS1 which was great while he was small but it put too much strain on one shoulder when he got heavier. I also used a Baby Bjorn which was ok but I didn't have the one with lumbar support.

This time around I have an Ergo Carrier and it is fantastic. In fact, my DS2 is asleep in it right now. He has reflux but he'll sleep great in the Ergo. I would 100% recommend it to anyone. I've only had it for about 6 weeks but it's already worth it! He can be in it for a couple of hours and I still don't get a sore back (he's about 6.5kg at the moment).

I had a close carrier and loved it!! Used it daily from when Harrison was a newborn until he was 9 months was ace he slept so well in it and I could do anything everything.

I have an ergo that I still use lots Harrison sleeps in it, Jacob goes in it at times too.

I ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY Love Love Love my Close Carrier soooooo much!!! Had a hug a bub with DD1 and found it uncomfortable and sold it in the end...... this time around using my close carrier since week 2 and just LOVE it!!!! she sleeps in it all day and I get so much done and can play with my DD1 etc..... otherwise I wouldn't get half of the things done!!

I can't wait to switch to my Ergo carrier too once she gets a bit too heavy (or should I say "feels " too heavy) for the close carrier. My ergo is awesome!!!!!
