i dont think there is such a thing as too much. if you want to spoil your little one then you should and no one can tell you otherwise. What you bought sounds great and i bet your little one will be so excited![]()

some of what you bought, as much as you're making it for his birthday, is stuff you would have gotten anyway. he needs a bed - no way around that one! to keep your house in some semblance of order (yeah right!) you got a toy box. yes, you've chosen a theme and probably spent a bit more because of the theme, BUT, it's stuff you would have gotten anyway - take that $280 out of the equation and you've really not spent much at all.
like LZ, a lot of things DD needs won't be given to her for her bday - she'll ge them as she needs them - so we may spend more through the year and less at her bday

I had intentions of buying a ton of clothes coz he literally had 1 outfit that fitted him, when I got warrnambool I went and seen my good friend rainbowraver and left her place with 3 garbage bags full of logans size 1's Im so greatfull, and logie has some gorgeus stuff
i'm about 40k's from t'gon - out past churchill. grew up in morwell and churchill - spent heaps of time in t'gon growing up cos my grandparents lived on the highway there. i work in one of the call centres over there
