How much water does your toddler drink?

DS2 drinks a lot of water. I would say that on average he drinks the required "adult" amount each day - possibly more.

We always have bottles/cups of water scattered around the house for him. Yesterday between waking up from his afternoon nap at 3 and dinner at 6 he finished off a 400ml drink bottle.

In additiont to having a drink bottle on the go he has:
a cup* of water with breakfast
a cup of water with morning tea
a cup of water with lunch
a cup of water with afternoon tea
a cup of water with dinner

Is that a lot of water?

    * his "cups" are the small ikea plastic cups

My little guy drank a similar amount at that age. He'd finish 3 or 4 400ml bottles of water over the course of a day and then 750mls over night (imagine that in nappies lol). That is in addition to any milk or tea he had. He still drinks a lot at 3.5 but not quite as much as he used to. I have water with me at all times. I was initially worried and spoke to my GP about it, but she wasn't worried.

Thanks Kim. He out-drinks us most days!

Oh, and yep, the nappies with the water overnight .... he is rather soggy in the morning!
