How often do you cut your baby's nails?

I feel like i am constantly cutting DDs fingernails, once or twice a week and i always have to remember to do it when she's asleep. How often does everyone else cut their baby's nails?

probably about once a week? they seem to grow so quickly don't they?

Every few days and she still seems to manage to scratch herself

About once a week but I actually bite them off as cutting them leaves sharp edges. I do it in the bath when the nail is softer as well.

Once, sometimes twice a week. I have to do it in the mornings though when ds is at his happiest other wise i am lucky to be able to get one or two fingers done.

I feel so bad, I've never cut DS's nails and he's already 11weeks old :/

We just put mittens on him all the time hehe! You guys have made me feel so bad, I think I'll try cutting them today

I do it probably once a week, should do it more often though, not that he scratches himself, just me and his dad! I do it while im BFing him, he doesnt mind too much then, too involved with guzzling!

About twice a week and she still manages to scratch herself!! I got asked last week if the cat had scratched her (and we don't even have a cat!).

DD1 I cut about once a fortnight when I can bribe her with chocolate although she now wants me to file them with the nail file

I could cut Ds's nails almost everyday! they seem to grow so quickly, and it is always such trouble! i have to do it cos otherwise he ends up scraching other bubs at playgroup..

About once a week, I need to do it again now but keep forgetting, we use mittens at night otherwise he'd scratch his eyes out for a feed before I get to him LOL

OMG, I was just thinking about this this morning when I was cutting Elijah's nails yet AGAIN! I can't say, but I'd have to guess that once a week would be the average. I swear it feels like ALWAYS!
