I do think babies do get flat heads if they sleep on their back continuously for a long time.Generally till the age of seven to eight months, if a little care is taken it can be avoided...In addition to the methods suggested I am mentioning a method my granny used to avoid flat heads. She used to make a pillow just a liitle one, enough for the lil' ones head and fill it with black mustard seeds. She then put the head of the sleeping baby on that hand made pillow. The pillow supported the head of the baby and took a perfect round shape and the baby's head too grew to be perfect round one , on all sides![]()
