ds goes to pre school 2 days per week. He has been going to this same centre for almost 3 years now, just a different room this year.

At first he was fine, as soon as we get there he would run off to play and say "bye mummy".. now last week, he started crying and saying he didn't want to go to school, he wanted to stay home with me, he will miss me (that broke my heart). I thought it was just because I was sick last week... but he did it again this morning

What could be causing him so much anxiety about going, when he has known all the kids for almost 3 years??

This morning when I left, he was crying, holding out his arms and saying mummy don't go... now i'm just writing this.. I feel like I abandoned him.
