OMG Oskar says the same things and he's almost 4 now... been going for a year. He started doing it at hmmm around 3 yrs and 4ish months..?? They told me it was actually rather normal for kids to go through feeling anxious at this age even if they hadn't before... because they're more aware of things now... a bit more aware of time and feelings etc. Oskar tells me, I don't like to go to kindy by myself, I will miss you. I hug him and tell him I'll miss him too but that the teachers love him to come and play and learn with them. Hopefully it passes quickly for him... for me... it's still going I hug him and stay for varied times... from 5 mins to 30 mins...he's always ok within 5 mins max. It's just the initial me going he doesn't like.
