I Need Sleep!!!

My poor little man is really sick and is having trouble sleeping. i've been up with him since 2.45am and i've just managed to get him back to sleep. now i'm just sitting here waiting for my toddler to wake up-he's usually up at 6.30am everyday-so i can't even have a rest now that my baby's asleep.
not even sure why i'm posting this, just wanna feel better and know that i'm not the only sleep deprived person out there. please tell me i'll get some sleep soon!

yeah, he's up now and we're just cuddling on the couch. in a way i'm better off staying awake now that i'm up and dressed iykwim? or i'll just feel even worse later.
i've gotta take my baby to the dr at 11am.thanks for listening to me.

You WILL get more sleep, I promise . It's awful when they are sick, it really disrupts their sleep. But the good news is that he will get better.

If you can plan a relaxed day for you all, maybe a PJ day with no house work and a few movies. I find these sorts of days after no sleep at night help me deal a bit better. Hope you can get an early night tonight and your little one is better soon.

You poor chicken. We're all snotty with cough's here too. I was up from 11.30pm till 3am if it makes you feel anybetter. Prob doesn't, but it was worth a shot. Hope J-man is feeling better soon.

Just letting you know I am getting no sleep either.... DS is sick, and even when he's well he feeds all night. DD1 and 2 have had flu so I've been tending to sick kids for 12 days now. In that time I have had nights of 1 hour sleep. also it's school hols and we're all stuck here.
I will think of you at night and know im not alone, even that makes it a tiny bit more bearable. Hope your bubba better soon. It's awful seeing them sick isnt' it... xoxo

YOu will get thru today....plan dinner...heck no, get DH to bring takeout home. THe couch and you are one today..... Can family take DS for a few hours?? If not a day of dvds and lying around with mummy is not going to do any harm.....

Oh no - hope things improve soon. We've had a few weeks of this as both kids here seem to like sharing their germs. It has been horrid - but seems to finally have passed.
Take care of yourself - forget the housework etc and take it easy.
