We had a lot of this as well, it did pass..DD would vomit after most feeds.I think her tummy was getting used to everything.but in saying that reflux is very common and can sometimes need to be seen by a DR, if you think its more than normal. It could also be something in your diet if your baby is breastfed,thinks like oranges ,coffee, spicy foods can effect breastmilk and cause reflux.These are just the common triggers in food but it could be anything , you may want to do a elimination of some things to see if it has any change
With the sticking fingers down her mouth, its normal its all apart of learning , my DD did this she would gag as well,sometimes make herself bring up her milk, but it also passed pretty quickly once she learned it wasnt very nice

Oh and with the awful smelling 'old' milk vomit..i had many of those on me ,they really smell, but she doesnt do those anymore either
I had the same thing going on with DD too, and I posted about it and got heaps of responses reassuring me that it would probably stop at around 6 months. And you know what? It did! We still have the odd vomit, but more just random ones, I even laugh in the face of danger and don't always put a bib on to BF anymore. There was a stage when I felt that would never happen, but now I can! (I do regret it sometimes though haha)
I had so much extra washing, all her lovely outfits were always hidden under a big ugly bib, had to keep her upright all the time (well for 1/2hr after each feed) that it really got me down, but I had to keep telling myself that as long as she was happy and putting on weight, all was good. Just chunky and sticky and often smelly. I even got to a point where I wasn't enjoying visiting people as she would have little chucks everywhere, not to mention in the car seat and pram too it will pass
