Ideas for items for Baby First Aid Kit

Hi girls,

I'm just making the final list of stuff to get before baby is born, and one of the items is "baby's first aid kit". Apart from baby panadol, fingernail clippers, cotton buds, digital thermometer, I've got no idea. Can anyone offer any more suggestions?

Nose Snot sucker thingo (they are gross but do come in handy when bubs have colds...I think Nuk makes em)
Fess (this stuff is brilliant)
Stomach Calm (great for bubs when they have gastro)
Fever Calm (most of the brauher range is handy to have around)
Incremin (vitamin syrup suitable for bubbas, good when they loose appetite)
Medicine dropper/syringe
Colic Relief (Possibly, depending on bubs)
Gastrolyte (rehydration)

I am just trying to think of all the things that I kept in handy or needed when I had Paris. I am sure some of it seems a bit extravagant, but when you have a screaming baby with gastro and you have run out of clothes and can't get to a chemist, or there isn't one open you will wish you have some of this stuff LOL! I also have some of the chinese peadiatric medicines you can get from safeway for colds & flus but I think its more for older kids. And granted most of this stuff will get turfed because it will expire before it gets used but its better to be prepared so I have learnt LOL!

I keep all this on hand ALL the time and paris is nearly 2.5

Ooooo and some bepanthen as it can be used from everything to nappy rash, nipple cracks, scratches & sores.

i brought a pre made pack so ti had everythign in it, except some creams

I think I might get some of that Stomach Calm for gastro, that Cailin mentioned... Aidyn has never had it so I dont know how bad it can actually be... but as we dont have a car to just zip down to the chemist, I think it might be a good idea to be prepared just in case.

I can't think of anything else to add at this stage...

Just thought I would bump this again.

I am going to put together my first aid kit and searched BB for this topic. Maybe it could be made a sticky as it is good info for new mums.

Looked at the BB articles for this info, will go and check if it is on there somewhere else.
