    Isn't it weird...

...that when babies are born we measure their weight in pounds and ounces, but after that we measure in kgs and have no idea what it is in pounds? (sorry, late night mind going wild! lol)

I totally agree...I have no idea how many pounds Amy is and only know in kgs. When people as what she was when born, I tell them in pounds or kilos depending on the persons age. Lucky I have got it right so far but most people want to know in pounds.

Ask your MCHN for a printout of weights in kgs and pounds, my MCHN gave it to me at my first visit so I know exactly what he is in kgs and pounds, makes it easier for my MIL when she asks like last time I was able to tell her that Matthew was 8.5 kg which is 18pound 12 ozs.

I too have the conversion table that Deeanne has, it's great i use it all the time.
Corey is 4.1kg which converts to 9lb1oz.

    conversion rates

    1 kilogram = 2.20462262 pounds
    1 pound = 0.45359237 kilograms

for easy conversion go to google and type in search area
how many kilos in 6 pound. -- etc

google works as a calculater as well as a search engine.
