Its hard not to worry hey!
when Ds1 started sleeping in his own bed he wanted the covers on and a pillow....I would jsut check on him a bit but he was big enough to wriggle around.

DD was always doing cartwheels in her sleep in the cot, couldnt keep a blanket on her either. Once we moved her into a bed at 14months she had a pillow and blankets and she never had any problems. She no longer moved so much in her sleep but also didnt keep her blankets on either. Like someone else said i was more worried about her not being warm enough but that was easily fixed with sleep suits.
I wouldnt worry to much at there age they will most likely move the blankets out of there way.

oh gosh I wouldn't worry at all.
I tuck Ash in before I go to bed, but that's it. He's had a doona forever!

If she can move around then she should be right, the breathing reflex will keep her safe.

ive been wondering the same thing recently, its just starting to get colder and she would have a little light wool blanket but soon it wont be enough. i was worried about a doona. she has a pillow when i lay down with her to go to sleep, but when she is asleep and i leave her i take the pillow away.
