Keep swaddling or not?

Hi, I just wanted some advice on when to stop wrapping my baby. He is 5 mths old. I am really worried about him rolling over as he is already rolling during the day on his mat and seems to like being on his tummy. I am scared he will roll over and suffercate in his sleep. Has anyone got any suggestions on things to stop him from rolling or should I just keep wrapping him?

My DS was around 4 months old when we stopped wrapping him for the same reason (plus he kept unwrapping himself!)
We started using sleeping bags instead and haven't looked back.

Maybe you could just keep his arms loose so he can get them out. You could stop wrapping him, but when I stopped I ended up starting again coz he wouldn't sleep.

I stoppped wrapping MJ at about 4 months.
It took a while to get back into a self settling routine, when that happened, so i would put her to sleep not wrapped and if she woke a couple of times in the night i would wrap her. She is now sleeping without a wrap. It took a while to get her use to it, but i am glad that i stopped her being wrapped when i did.

Have just swapped to a sleeping bag (took a while to get my head around less blankets) and she is sleeping heaps better.
