Keeping toddler warm overnight

Does the cold hands bother her? Or is it just that it worries you?

My kids always sleep in sleeping bags too, and some mornings their hands are cold. I was told categorically by a nurse that it didn't matter - so long as their torso was warm, then they were warm. Not to be too concerned with their extremities.

Have you put a thermometer in DD's room? What does it drop to? I know our house is coldest very first thing in the morning (before i turn the heating on) and my DS1's room is about 16 degrees. Which is cool - but still fine.

Kyson sleeps in a sleeveless sleeping bag like your DD. He wears a pair of winter jimjams on underneath. I also lay a medium blanket over him when he goes to sleep. He sometimes wriggles out from under it before he falls asleep, so I sneak in before I go to bed and make sure it's over him. I doubt it really makes much difference though, but I like to peek in on him one last time before I go to sleep, hehe. We keep the heating on overnight at about 18 degrees though, so it never gets really cold. I think if she was getting too cold though she would certainly wake and let you know
