It's hard the first time, but having him at home is a great idea he has all his own toys and it's where he feels safest.

I hope you can enjoy the movie.

    I'm sure he's fine
Enjoy your movie!! even if he is upset (which I'm sure he won't be ) its only 2 hours out of his whole life, and by this afternoon he will have forgotten you ever left

Just got home from picking Isaac up from SIL's place.

Apparently he was fine the whole time, had a huge lunch - more than he's eaten for a week or 2!

I should have known he'd be fine, he such a laid back little thing.

I sent SIL a text about 15 mins after we left to check he was ok, which she said he was. That really helped me to relax a bit and I managed to concentrate on the movie (which was very funny, I highly recommend it). I was very anxious to get home as soon as it finished though, kept feeling like something was missing and wanting to check the back seat. A few times during and after the movie I caught myself looking for him. There was a rediculous amount of traffic and when we got home we discovered they weren't here. should have checked first. So had to drive another 10 mins to SIL's house. I just wanted to see my baby damnit! Got there and he didn't even care when we walked in the door. lol! I even had to ask for a cuddle.

Thanks everyone for the advice, hugs and reassurance. I would have been going nuts without you all.

Naaw! So glad you had a good time!
I remember the first time I left Jazz, we went to the Pink concert in August last year. She had just turned one, and it was so hard! I cried driving out of the drive way but we had such a great time! And Jazz was fine, she even went to sleep for SIL (I was alittle jealous that she got it so easy considering Jazz really had a tough time with sleeping back then. Even though I didn't want Jazz to cry! But I thought GEEZ what's wrong with me??? haha!). I got SIL to send me messages with pictures, which made me relax knowing I could SEE that she was fine
