Leaving for Vietnam in a few days - any advice?

    Hi all!

We're heading home to Vietnam in a few days. I think we've got everything we need for the next few months.

We have clothes, bottles, an electric steriliser, a hug-a-bub (which is a bit hot), a play gym, some sucking toys (for teething), dummies, a spare safety capsule (without a base) and a nappy bag.

We plan to buy a stroller over there for when she gets too big to sleep in the capsule during outings, although it's likely to be too small for me to push comfortably.

Does anyone have anything they've found invaluable that perhaps is only available in Australia? Over the past two years I've found most things are available in Vietnam (apart from Promite), although sometimes it takes a while to find out how to get them and some imported things are quite expensive.

Oh Feeb, don't get me started on Tim Tams. Malaysian-made Tim Tams are available in Vietnam but they taste terrible. I bought a packet of TTs when I got back in September and entered their competiton -- and won a year's supply. I'm all Tim Tam-ed out at the moment. And feeling chunkier than I should be!

Medicines maybe? What's baby panadol like over there? A reliable thermometer? Something for *****ly heat/rash etc.
I'm sure they have their own versions of most things, but can you trust they are up to standard?
Wish I was going...oh the food!
