Yes. The toddler's always right. No point arguing anything.

Mine has to contradict everything. Then quickly backpedels sometimes when he realises that he actually does want a drink or whatever.
He is cute but.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Now if someone could just tell me at what age kids actually do stop eating playdough and textas I'd be the happiest mum on earth. I wasn't eating that stuff by the time I hit 18, so I suppose there's some hope for DS1 ...

THe toddler years are such a hard age, but so rewarding at the same time! We definately choose our battles here, its the easiest way sometimes...so for example, we went to playgroup in leggings and a rash top that was a size 0! I learnt that I must put away clothes that no longer fit her so that they aren't an option.

Hmmm, can't help you with the eating playdough and textas, but when do they grow out of the need to fingerpaint with their WHOLE arm, not just the fingers?
