We didn't move her until she was 13 months... it just didn't feel right. I agree with Arimeh, if it doesn't feel right then it's not We got a lot of pressure from others but its not them who needs to not only feel what you feel, but also have to get up and trudge down the halls every night to get to your DD.
Stevie hun don't stress! Do what feels right for you, Miss A will be fine with it either way. If you're not ready to put her in the cot then don't, she's still so tiny and it's great to have them so close to you. I put Leila in her cot at around 4 weeks because a) she's a super noisy sleeper and I found I was getting hardly any rest, and b) she wriggles a lot and our bassinet was an old style rocking one with wooden railing (had it locked so it didn't rock though) and she somehow always managed to wriggle to one side or the other and I was worried she was hitting her head on the side. For me I find I sleep MUCH better with her in the cot although i do miss not having her so close to me.
Our DS is in our room, in his cot cause he grew out of bassinet at about 3 months. no plans to move him out yet, I think it'll be a while for us. Follow your instincts.
