    Whoops! Bad habit!

Around 2 months ago, DD (now 18mths) started waking again during the night and as i was 6mth pg I was absolutely exhausted so got into this stupid stupid habit of bringing her into our bed, which didn't seem so stupid at the time since she would go straight back to sleep and not wake until around 6/630, sometimes later.
Anyways, i have gone back to trying to lay her back down, putting her dummy in and giving her a little pat when she wakes in the night but now there is absolutely no way known that she will go back to sleep in her own bed.
I cant stand next to the cot for very long and i tried battling it out the other night and it took hours...and frankly, i'm just too tried and sore to do it.
I wanted to get it sorted before the baby comes but now i'm worried it's going to be such a nightmare...not only that but she has all 4 eye teeth coming down so that's giving her grief too.
any suggestions...or anyone willing to switch places?
