I tried to settle Beth with twinkle little star a few months ago and all I got was "thuttup"!

3yr old DD has a new toy guitar that plays tunes as well as notes. DD set it to this repetetive tuneso I started singing "doo-doo doo-up" along with it and DD stopped it and said, "No, don't doo-doo mummy, not yet." She then started the tune again and said, "ok, now doo-doo mummy, you can doo-doo now"
I too get told to, 'shh, be quiet baby's sleeping' if DD#2 is asleep OR if one of many baby dolls is having a sleep..................
