I am an avid singer lol I sing in the car with Eliza and lately she has been asking me to stop. I hear a quiet "Stop singing mummy" then she gets all emotional screaming stop singing..I dont like it anymore. This is ok for me I stop but we were at a party last night and the older kids were doing a concert and Eliza starts to yell "stop singing "as thou she controls the universe.
BUT it is ok when she is singing..she says mummy sing the make it loud song! Sing the tick tock song and she sings along. How do you tell a 2yr that people can do what they like especially when her life is dictated around what Mummy and Daddy say and more times than enough she gets in trouble doing the things she likes to do as they are often dangerous
The only thing she does get right is to tell Daddy to stop singing cause that is terrible
Any ideas how to deal with this...I can see us in the city and her screaming at the carols singers to "Stop singing"

. I am only trying to tidy up the drippy bits
Lulu2!! Oh that made me laugh...."thuttup!"
so I started singing "doo-doo doo-up" along with it and DD stopped it and said, "No, don't doo-doo mummy, not yet." She then started the tune again and said, "ok, now doo-doo mummy, you can doo-doo now"
