We had the same problem with DD2. We tried the pram and the baby bjorn harness but it wasn't until I borrowed a pram from a friend that lets baby sit facing you, instead of facing away, that it really got any better.
The other day I managed to shop for around 3 hours while DD happily sat and watched me!
Hi girls,
Thank you so much for your suggestions.
This morning I swaddled Lily and popped her in the pram (bassinette) I also covered the bassinette and pegged it down, it seemed to work and I was able to walk around the block twice!! I might try this every morning and see how we go. Tomorrow I will carry her in the baby bjorn whilst at home.
well there's a step forward! hope it goes well with the carrier! have to say that with DD it took a bit for her to get used to it (we used a sling and had her upright in the end). i also think that being close the milk machines (.y.) caused some *issues* lol! she just would go crazy being that close to the food lol!
We have similar issues with DD in the car seat - she absolutely hates it and screams herself senseless its awful because we HAVE to drive everywhere as the nearest shop is 10km away
When we have had DD out at the shops we popped her in the bassinette attachment so she couldn't see too much and found that works the best.
I was thinking a prob we have had walking here with the pram is it jiggles far too much so we found by letting the tyres down just a smidge helped with the vibrations. Maybe try that too?
