My baby doesn't cry!

Hi,
My DD is 6mnths and I've only heard her cry once at about 4mnths. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining but I thought it was only natrual for babies to cry to express their emotions if anything. Her first tooth came through yesterday, not even a tear, a few grizzles but that was it. Just wondering if anyone else has a baby that doesn't cry.

We have one in our house too! Must be the name I hae to say Iz does occasionally cry but it takes a bump to the head now that she is walking, to be hungry, or to be really tired to do it, and they are all easily fixed- a quick cuddle and she's back to chatting and smiling. We have never had her cry for no reason that we couldn't fix within a few minutes flat.
She is just a happy, contented baby and we get comments all the time about it and it really is true, but I rarely tell people that she doesn't cry really because they don't believe me! My mum and dad look after her when I'm at work and they realised too.
I don't think she isn't expressing her emotions - I just think her emotions are just pretty happy and content for 99.9% of the time!
Off to get her out of bed - she's calling out (rather than crying ) to let me know she's awake!!!!

None of my kids have been cryers, But Zavier was amazing!!
Even as a newborn being bathed and nappy changed, just a smile and gurgle...

My first son was like that - and I was really worried he was autistic, so I know where you are coming from. But he turned out fine - he just endured all the indignities of being a baby with great stoicism and patience. He only ever cried when tired, hungry or wet, and even then it was very quiet and brief, and stopped the minute I picked him up. Not all bubs are like that - my second son is a screamer! Still a "good" baby, but he sure as hell lets you know when things aren't going 100% his way!

my son is the same.. everyone always comments on how happy he is.. even complete strangers...

as Tanstar said, there is never a problem we can't fix within a minute or two..
in his whole 5 1/2 months of life.. there was has only been a couple of weeks in the beginning where he screamed and cried heaps.. but i put that down to the fact he had 2 parents new to the whole baby thing and had absolutely no idea what the hell they were doing.. lol

i forgot to add that he also wakes up with delighted squeels and smiles instead of crying and screaming..... he's so cute.. ok i will stop boasting now lol

I get alot of comments about how quite Jasmine is....she never cries when she wakes...will lay in bed for hours if we dont check on her....never know when she is sleeping or awake.

Only time we really get cries is needles and if Chelsea does something to her!

Oooh I'm so jealous - mine has always been a grumpy, unhappy little screamer 99.9% of the time!!!!
Lets hope the next one is a quiet one..

Oh Rory, I hear you. Jack was so quiet and easy, and has never been a tanty thrower. So imagine our shock when Tom was the opposite - he had colic and screamed non-stop for 12 weeks and now is the world's greatest tanty thrower!

Mel, maybe you're in for a quiet one this time!
