I sat down with DD tonight and had a talk. Went something like this:
Me: "mummy needs to talk to you"
DD looked me in the eye the whole time
Me: "It's not nice to hit, kick and bite other people"
DD: "Yeah, it's not nice"
Me: "you need to stop doing that at daycare"
DD: "Ok, I'll stop and be a good girl instead of naughty"
Me: "Thank you"

Pretty good conversation I think with a not quite 3 year old. Hopefully I don't have to have this conversation many more times.
