My DS injured on a popular children's bed

I 'had' one of those beds.. it was so flimsy it fell apart and is now downstairs

ps just off topic for my own reasons do you happen to know the company that makes these beds? I have been trying to find out so I can contact them about the shoddiness of my bed

Oh your poor DS! Speedy recovery to him. And what a fright for you! Don't beat yourself up too much, I know easier said than done.

I don't know who makes the beds, but we got ours from Toys r Us, and i've seen the same style at Target too.

To be honest its not the sturdiest of beds, but we bought it for the novelty factor as DS liked the winnie the pooh on it and we thought that would help in him being comfortable to go in to a bed.

We won't be keeping this bed though as i'm planning to co-sleep my boys when the youngest is older, so we will get bunks. This accident has helped me to look at potential bed dangers though so with our next purchase we'll be more careful.
