BlackRose - it is hard isn't it? i agree, maybe your DS is just trying to get all the attention he can get before bub comes along and then he has to share you? Dosen't make it any easier to deal with though i know! Hopefully he gives you a little break soon though
Oh hun, your poor poppet seems to have it really rough ATM, I guess you're just going to have to ride it out . I know when DS is only slightly more whingey than normal, I get really impatient with him as normally he's a pretty easy going toddler, and then of course I feel guilty because he just wants to be cuddled more than normal (be it ear ache, teething, high temp etc). I can't imagine a child wanting to hang off you all day long, but I guess because she's unwell she turns to you for comfort. I guess that little ones don't understand why they are in pain, and can't do things for themselves so they turn to mummy. Big hugs, and I hope it passes for your DD quickly.
oh it is normal. I have to keep reminding myself of the same thing.
Do you wear her at all? When DD is insistent and I need to do things she has to go on my back.
It does sound like your ability to cope is compromised right now - can you call in extra help and support? That, combined with her extra need, makes things extra hard for the both of you.
