    Smile Is this a myth?

Has anyone else heard that babies sleep more when they're growing or having a growth spurt? I hear it all the time, and wonder if there's actually any truth to it?

I do know that when DD does sleep and eat more about a week or so later we suddenly realise she has grown out of shoes or clothes or is that little bit taller... So it seems to be true with ours...

DS does the same. I think its true because growth spurts make your body tired. It happens to teens as well. Their body needs more fuel and more down time to concerntrate on the growing. My theory, not based on anything else.

Not based on anything except my DS, he usually had a few hungry days, then a few sleepy days, then he doesnt fit any of his things any more... So I think it is so...
