Aww so cute! Mine have always been happy wakers, so nice to hear them chatting away and happily playing!! I have always remembered when I read somewhere that when babies wake to not rush in and pull them out of the cot but to go in quietly and chat to them while they are still happy and playing, and you can tidy up the room etc. so they know the cot is a safe place whether they are awake or asleep! Sounds like he is a happy little man!!

Awwww .... I have a happy waker too. He usually wakes up, spots me (we cosleep) and turns into a big fat barrel of smiles

DD#2 is the opposite. She is always horribly crabby when she wakes up, and is sort of like a wailing whinging zombie for about an hour. Even if she's just had a 20 minute catnap. And she's almost 3 so this has been going on for quite a while.
