Nail Biting

My 21 month old daughter Darcy has been biting her fingernails for the past couple of weeks I don't know if it's a nervous habit or what?? Has anyone else's toddlers done this? Anyone got suggestions for me to help her stop?

My husband is a compulsive nail biter, so i don't know if that has any link with my daughter doing it.

I have a "Stop & Grow" nail varnish , but not sure if i should really be applying that to my lil girls fingers or not.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

This brings back memories. I bit my nails when I was about 10, my mother made me go to school with gloves on!!! It was mid-summer. I have not bitten my nails since.
FYI - it may not work now, but maybe it's worth a try
