I think the red brake is a good idea so that if someoine is using your pram who'd unfamiliar with it will always know its 'the red one'.

I think the tether strap is okay if you have one bub, but it is largely impractical especially if you have older toddlers who arent in the pram - if you're tied to the pram what happens if you need to chase after them? It may be a split second thing and they're out of reach.
