    You won't have any problems getting a picture of Upsy Daisy.

    I would suggest doing her in stages and using a combination of royal icing and butter icing. The Royal Icing is great because you can just use it white for her skirt, which you can cut to size and then just lay in a big chunk of the cake - much easier than having to spread butter icing. Use a bit of cocoa to colour the icing slightly for her complexion. Don't try to make her hair out of cake (way too fiddly) - separate 3 or 4 lumps of icing and then colour one yellow and then two or three different shades of pink. Then just roll them into long "strings" for her hair. I also found it much easier to use pipe cleaners as separaters when doing the stripes of her arms. You can also buy ready made icing flowers if you want to use them on her shirt rather than trying to draw them on with icing.

    Good luck with it and enjoy. I love doing all this sort of stuff (so long as I leave myself enough time so I don't stress!)
