Do you or have you wormed your bubs?
What age are you supposed to start at?
DS has been playing with a child who may have worms, do I need to treat him?
And don't forget to change the sheets on his bed and his towel too and cut his fingernails short - the eggs are microscopic and can live outside the body.
When one the kids kids gets it is a huge thing to do everyone and then the linen etc, but there could be worse things LOL
When I was little my mum used to have a ritual on the first of each month we were wormed and checked for nits, all of the linnen was changed (it was done more regularly but always on this day) and doonas and blankets and pillows went out in the sun for the day
I remember it being slightly chaotic but with four kiddies it must have been hell on earth for her.
What are the symptoms of worms? DS has constant night waking in the early part of the night and does about 5 poo's a day, his poor little botty is getting red.
the best way to know if they have worms is to have a look... if you make the room dark and bend your child over your knee gentaly open the anse and shine a torch at the open anse(sp?) the little buggers will come to check out the light... gross I know but someone has to do it, best if its done by both your and DP/H/W ...
I had to do us when DS was only a few weeks old. DD1 had them (the insane itchiness gave it away).
We had the chocolate tablets, & I was freaked about DS having worms & just hoped enough would pass through my BM to protect him. Although they did alot of research while I waited to make sure it wouldn't go through my BM & harm him.
But, yes, from memory they were for over 1.
