Get yourself a carrier of some kind, she may also sleep longer in a carrier and you can get things done.
The first few weeks are trying, was it work that kept you busy in the past?
This is the perfect age to get out and about, they love it usually. Catch up with friends for coffee, meet your DH for lunch.
Go to a movie, I went when DD was this age, it was great!!
One thing I had which was a life saver for this age, was a play gym, the one they lay the under. All my kids loved lying and playing with the one we had, it would keep them entertained for quite a long time, quite a few times, I would get busy and then think "mmmm it's quiet"? I would go and check on them and they were alseep!

Soon you will find yourself with not enough time and wonder where the day has gone.
Totally agree with everything Heather has said.

I really disliked this age, and I found that I was trying so hard to enjoy it and felt bad that I wasnt itms?! Also, as MrsBexie said, it is so hard going from being your individual self who could do whatever and whenever you liked, to having to work around this little person.

All I can say is that is does get better, and once they get more interactive, it does become more fun and for me, the rewards were so much better.

Hang in there hun, you are doing a great job xo
