This morning i got up and left DH and DD in our bed. A little while later DH got up and said DD was still sleeping. We were just chilling in the lounge and listening on the baby monitor for DD. The baby monitor turned on a couple of times, but no big noises so we figured she has just rolled over and gone back to sleep. I went for a shower and told DH to listen out for her.
A couple minutes later i heard a small cry and DH went in to the bedroom to get her. He found DD standing next to the bed with her feet on the floor hanging on to the sheet (she can't stand or walk independently yet). Apparently, she had woken up and crawled/rolled over to the side and pulled out all the undies from DHs top drawer before deciding to abseil down the side of the bed. It was only when she got down and then couldn't let go of the sheet that she called out.
Oh dear. We have the cot up against the bed which keeps one side safe, now gotta work out the other side. Or get DD to actually sleep in the cot
Little bugger, yep we had that problem as well, be careful with her my DD used to always go head first lucky we were always there to catch her, but it got so hard we couldnt leave her in the bed anymore alone .
Could you get a side rail?
