P&T ok to take on flights?

We took our strider (they are pretty bulky) to tassie a few years ago with no problems

I phoned Virgin a couple of weeks ago and each child has an automatic over-weight allowance, for a pram / carseat / portacot. I've taken a P&T E3 and also a carseat when flying - the pram was when Pip was <2 and on my lap, so not even with a seat for him.
